How RariMe works

Users scan their biometric passports with their phones. RariMe verifies the data on the NFC chip inside the passport and after confirming that it is valid, creates an incognito profile for the user. No passport data ever leaves the users’ device or passes through a centralized server where it could be intercepted. It remains private throughout the entire process.

RariMe ensures your privacy with Zero-Knowledge Proofs

Once a user’s incognito profile is set up, they can use it to generate Zero-Knowledge Proofs that prove their age, citizenship, uniqueness, or humanity without revealing their identity. This allows users to protect their privacy while engaging with dApps that need to verify users.

Rarimo ProtocolRMO Token

Rarimo is a privacy-first (ZK) social protocol. It allows users to privately store their digital identities, and a history of their actions, and social interactions. Through zero-knowledge proofs however, users are able to verify these identities and histories to external dApps. This ends the trade off between anonymity and social capital

RMO Token

Fees

The main use of the RMO token is to pay for transaction fees on the Rarimo protocol, which facilitate the updates and transfers of graph and messages across networks.

ZK Passport ID

Rarimo protocol revolutionizes the identity frameworks, by allowing users to self-issue incognito profiles based on the passport and pay RMO directly to the smart contract.

Fee for Oracles for external data verification

Tokens are used to reward oracles for verifying the data brought to Rarimo from connected. networks

Governance

Tokens are used for governance within the DAO and for selecting validators to run the nodes.
